Open Society Foundations-Armenia is pleased to invites to “European Integration Index 2013 for EaP Countries” presentation which will take place on October 22, 11:00-14:00 at “Picasso” hall of Congress Hotel.
This project continues the initiative that started in 2010-2011. It aims at stimulating competition among the Eastern Partnership countries and, as the result, better reform process and assisting the EU in implementing its ‘more for more’ principle. To reach this the initiative aims at giving to civil society of EaP countries the advocacy tool and to EU institutions an independent and objective assessment of the state of reforms in EaP countries in the form of European Integration Index for EaP Countries.
The survey is carried out by over 50 civil society experts from EaP countries and includes different areas such as: human rights, independent judicial system, fight against corruption, elections, political dialogue, market economy, the establishment of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, involvement of the civil society representatives in the decision making processes, etc.
RA ministers, government officials, members of parliament, Ambassadors of EU countries to Armenia, representatives of international organizations, civil society and media representatives have been invited to attend the event.
